Sri Lanka grapples with one of its worst weather disasters in 2025
Heavy rains and Cyclone Ditwah cause severe flooding and landslides in Sri Lanka. These devastating floods in Sri Lanka have displaced countless families and wildlife in almost all parts of the country, leaving them with no shelter, food, or necessities. We, the New Zealand Sri Lanka Foundation, Auckland, NZ (NZ Charity- CC53688), are writing to you today to ask for your urgent support in providing much-needed relief to those affected in Sri Lanka.
